Overview
Breath of Life is a wellness and self-regulation app for short breathing, attention, body-awareness, reminder, and progress-tracking practices. The app is local-first by default and can be used without an account.
Breath of Life is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions, and does not replace professional medical care.
Data stored on your device
The app may store practice history, session records, progress, streaks, achievements, language settings, session settings, music settings, vibration settings, reminder settings, safety confirmations, and state checks before and after practice. These local data support the app experience and remain on the device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data in Android settings.
Optional Google Sign-In and cloud backup
Google Sign-In is optional. If you sign in, the app uses Firebase Authentication to identify your account. If you use cloud backup, selected progress and settings may be stored in Firebase Firestore and associated with your signed-in account so you can restore data after reinstalling the app or moving to another device.
Cloud backup may include user stats, session records, preferences, reminder settings, course progress, practice results, and safety confirmations.
Analytics
The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand product quality and improve the app. Analytics events may include onboarding completion, selected state, protocol starts, completions or interruptions, reminder changes, and cloud sync success or error events.
The app is designed not to send passwords, medical diagnoses, or private note content to analytics.
Notifications
The app may send local practice reminders only if you enable reminders and grant Android notification permission. You can disable reminders in the app or in Android system settings.
Purchases, ads, and financial features
The current app build does not include active purchases, subscriptions, ads, loans, credit, investments, cryptocurrency, or financial advice.
Third-party services
Data may be processed by Firebase/Google as infrastructure providers for authentication, analytics, and optional cloud backup. We do not sell personal data.
Data deletion
Signed-in users can delete their Firebase account and latest cloud backup from the app Settings screen. Deletion requests can also be sent to breathoflife.support@gmail.com. Local device data can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in Android settings.

Safety
Intensive breathing protocols require a safe environment. Do not practice them in water, while driving, standing, operating equipment, or anywhere dizziness could create danger. Stop if you feel dizzy, panicky, numb, or uncomfortable.
Children
Breath of Life is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact support so we can review and delete it where applicable.
